Look:Another first of SDO San Pablo under the leadership of Dr. Daisy Z. Miranda is the San Pablo Training and Immersion Center in Brgy. San Juan San Pablo City. On May 20,2022 a program for the official turn-over of donations from Rotary Club of San Pablo City and Rotary Club International to Alternative Learning System was held.As part of Mahalaga ang ating “Papel” project in line with Adopt-A-School Program, 2M worth of donations consisting of Tech-Voc equipment, sports equipment, and speech lab were officially turned over by Rotary Club of San Pablo City headed by Fernando Fabros to the ALS San Pablo Training and Immersion Center. The donations were made possible through Yong Hee Kim, President of Sae Bucheon, District 3690, and Su Kyung Kim, President of Rotary Club of Bucheon Dasarang District 3690 of the Republic of Korea. Twenty-four Koreans from Rotary International with their Past District Governor Kyung-Ha Lee of District 3690, Republic of Korea graced the event together with Rotary San Pablo and Rotaract.The donations were accepted by Dr. Daisy Z. Miranda, the Schools Division Superintendent. The Welcome Remarks was delivered by the CID Chief, Vincent Emmanuel L. Ilagan, next to him, were the messages from the Rotarian Presidents and Governor: Fernando Fabros, Yong Hee Kim, Su Kyung Kim, Kyung-Ha Lee, and District Governor Angelita Sunio who all gave their messages of gratitude and willingness to extend their hands for the learners of San Pablo City. The ceremonial signing of the Deed of Donation and Deed of Acceptance followed. After the photo opportunity, the Education Program Supervisor of MAPEH and ALS, delivered her Closing Remarks. Masters of the ceremony were Henrich Yason and Norton Asacta of ALS.The last part of the program was the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon to formally open the Immersion Center with its brand new and top-of-the-line equipment.Then at 2 p.m., another turn-over ceremony for school supplies was held at San Juan Elementary School. Recipient learners were present during the activity and the minimum health protocol was strictly observed. March Padilla, the school principal, and ASDS Buddy Chester M. Repia, with CID Chief Vincent Emmanuel L. Ilagan and Del Remedio District Supervisor, Dr. Nora M. Calabia accepted the donations. ALS learners are now ready for the “Next Normal”.
